En artikel i New York Times pekar på ett nytt, intressant fenomen, ett slags etikkod för ekonomer. Harvard går i bräschen:
Nearly 20 percent of the graduating class have signed “The M.B.A. Oath,” a voluntary student-led pledge that the goal of a business manager is to “serve the greater good.” It promises that Harvard M.B.A.’s will act responsibly, ethically and refrain from advancing their “own narrow ambitions” at the expense of others.
Och på Tobias gamla Columbia Business School, svär numera alla studenter på att:
“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”
